Tough Life
Something made me feel sad tonight.. Just got an agent bring a china man around the age of 30 to my house for a room rental, he is dirty and his back is full of red patches probably made by the biting bugs from the previous place he is staying in singapore. The agent explains the location of the workplace to the china man and he is very confused as he dunno anything here.
It's his employer that made the arrangement that he is staying in my house through an agent and as he starts working, the rent will be deducted from his pay which will probably be like $400 - 500 a month. its a rule that they cant do cooking in our house except for small cook like maggie mee.
Can you imagine eating 2 packets of maggie mee everyday?!
Can you imagine walking to the workplace for 40 mins every morning?
That's how they save their money, to send back to their homes.
"Shame on those who ask parents for money to spend on the things they want!" this is my testimonie
My conclusion, if i can be as hard working and as efficient like the china man, i could become a very successful person someday, likewise for those who i mentioned in my testimonie.
What have i learnt? i learnt that people have to give in, for example the china man knows that the agent is insulting him in other languages but he took it in. if not the agent will send him back. if a head is not frown down, there wont be a time that the head will be looking up. as a saying goes 'what goes up must come down'
